Dmitry Demidov

Professional Ballroom Dancer, Instructor

A renowned dancer and instructor, Dmitry began his dancing career at the age of six in Krasnodar by the Black Sea in Russia. Dmitry had spent most of his life dancing and getting a formal education in everything that is dance. He earned a degree from Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism, and attended the University of Culture and Arts in both Krasnodar and Moscow. A graduate of the School of Dance and Comedy Musicals in Barcelona, he has studied many forms of dance including Jazz, Modern Jazz, Step Dance, Ballet and Vocals.

Dmitry’s competitive career includes numerous national and international dance tournaments, where he was a three-time finalist in the Latin Amateur Championships in Russia, as well as two-time finalist in the Latin Professional Championships. Dmitry won 1st place at IDSF Open Latin, 4th place at IDSF East European Ten Dance, 2nd place at all British championships and became a Top 13 Professional at Blackpool, the biggest competition in the world.

Since 2010, Dmitry continues his career as a professional dancer and teacher and has traveled around the world to perform, teach and inspire. His professional resume includes many performances as both a dancer and choreographer in Russia, Spain, Thailand and the US. He has appeared in a number of TV spots and dance shows, including choreographing the popular TV show “Dancing with the Stars” in Russia.

He is an excellent coach, dance instructor and choreographer.
